The 45 hours of continuing education content provided in this course will give first-time Salespersons in the State of California all of the training required for the first renewal of their licenses. This course covers numerous real estate topics beginning with risk and the management of risk. We will discuss recordkeeping, the handling of trust funds, and mortgage loan brokerage, as well as xamine real estate financing including sources of financing, loans, and other financing methods.
After that, the content will look at land-use regulations and the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) forms. We will explore agency as it relates to property management before looking at how to establish and maintain a real estate business. We then address investment in real estate along with how the value of real estate is determined followed by a discussion about the interaction between property managers and any tenants of the property being managed.
We also explore ethics and ethical behavior & fair housing laws. The course content will then shift to focus on important lending laws, rules, and regulations. Looking at real estate agreements and what makes them different from other contractual agreements before discussing foreclosure. The last segment of the class will be on agency and what the agency looks like in the real estate industry.
Due to the fact that this is a lengthy course, the content will be broken up by a series of quizzes and exams. The other intention of the quizzes and exams is to further comprehension of the lessons.
