This 7 hour Real Estate Continuing Education course has been approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission. This course will cover the following subjects:

- Assessment and Taxation
Georgia Real Estate License Renewal Dates and Continuing Education Requirements
- In Georgia, your license must be renewed every four years.
- To do that, you must complete the mandatory CE hours every four years as well.
- Georgia real estate continuing education requirements include 36 hours total.
- Three of those hours must be mandatory license law hours.

Rules for Repeating a Course:
Any student can repeat a course for credit if it has been at least one year since they last received credit for it. This does not change if their license has been renewed in that time.

Requirements for Post-Licensing:Â
If you hold a salesperson’s license, the first year you renew the license you must complete a 25-hour GREC-approved post-licensing real estate course. This course must be completed prior to renewing your license.Â

Process for License Renewal:
In Georgia, you can renew your license online through the online licensing portal. You need to renew your license by midnight on your renewal date or your license will lapse and you’ll need to pay a late fee to get it renewed.
