This is a 12 hour course that is intended for real estate professionals in Illinois who want to renew their licenses.
The course content examines the fundamentals of ownership and use of real estate.
The course discusses the process of describing a piece of real estate. Included in this is an examination of both physical and economic characteristics inherent to real property.
The course will address the concept of the property title. This will include an examination of what a property title is and does, an exploration of the different encumbrances that can be attached to a property title, and a look at how the title to a property is transferred from one person to another.
The course will look at contracts in general before talking about the types of contracts that are specifically used by real estate professionals. As a part of this, the course will explore the contracts that are used to establish property listings and to sell property.
The course will examine the TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) forms and their use as a part of the mortgage lending process.
