The intent of this course is to give real estate professionals in the State of Indiana eight hours of continuing education on elective topics.
This course will address ethics in the real estate industry. This will include a discussion of the benefits that come from ethical practices and an examination of the ethical duties real estate professionals are expected to fulfil.
The course will cover fair housing and fair housing laws. Part of this will be a look at the history of the housing industry and fair housing efforts. The rest of this topic will examine the Fair Housing Act and other related pieces of federal legislation.
The content of this course will explore the concept of errors and omissions. In addition, there will be a discussion common errors and omissions and a discussion of strategies for prevention and mitigation of errors and omissions.
