We'll kick off this 4-hour Michigan-approved course with a review of basic contract law that applies to real estate contracts. This includes an examination of relevant clauses, and well as requirements for contract validity.
After that we'll discuss errors and omissions that can occur in real estate, as well as strategies for prevention and mitigation of these risks.
We'll also cover the updates to the federal Integrated Mortgage Disclosures required of lenders in real estate loans. Our last topic in the course will be supervision and management, where we'll talk about some characteristics of successful managers, as well as the employer/employee relationship and working with independent contractors.
This course does not require a final exam.
