Licensed MN real estate agents have a two year license renewal cycle and are required to take 15 hours of continuing education each year, completing 30 hours of real estate CE credits before their June 30th deadline for license renewal.
We offer two 15 hour packages as it's important to make sure you're not repeating the same course in back to back years. Continuing education is only valid when completed within the relevant and appropriate license period. Extra classes or credit hours cannot be applied towards a student's renewal requirements in later years.
Minnesota requires all real estate continuing education to be completed by June 30th. This is to make sure the renewal process goes smoothly.
Minnesota requires: 3.75 mandatory CE hours, and 11.25 hours of continuing ed electives, for a total of 15 hours of CE.
Part of the required 30 hours must include:
- One Hour of Agency Law coursework
- One Hour of Fair Housing training
