Texas Real Estate Post-License 90-Hour SAE Renewal Package

This 90-hour Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) course package counts toward the TREC first-time license renewal requirement.

The package includes courses that cover many topics, including:

  • Texas Property Code chapters 91 to 93: What is and is not allowed in Texas property management
  • How to brokerage relationships between clients, salespersons, and other brokers
  • Ways to analyze the market and the competition
  • Legal concepts in real estate practice in Texas
  • Basic contract law and how to use Texas promulgated contracts
  • Legal land descriptions and surveys
  • Conveyance of property, both voluntary and involuntary
  • The role easements, encumbrances and liens play in property transactions
  • Issues surrounding foreclosures
  • Evidence of title and transfer of title
  • Texas property and ownership rights

Course exams must be proctored. You can purchase online proctoring within the course for $15 per exam or find an in-person proctor location.

Note: This package DOES NOT include the required four-hour TREC Legal Update I and II courses.

Texas Real Estate Post-License 98-Hour Complete SAE Renewal Package

Texas real estate sales agents who complete this course package will fulfill their first-time license renewal requirements.

The package includes 90 hours of Sales Apprentice Education (SAE) course material plus the eight hours of mandatory TREC legal updates.

Students who take the courses will learn about the following:
