This package was crafted with the new real estate agent in mind, covering topics not mandated by the state, but still important to operating as an agent in Utah.
Under the first topic of real estate mathematics, we're going to cover how math is used in real estate calculations, what general concepts an agent needs to know in order to perform such calculations as capitalization rate and appreciation. Closing costs, commission splits, and other transaction specific calculations comes next. Lending related concepts and practice equations is divided into two parts.
The second topic of title transfer begins by explaining what a deed is, the types and elements of a deed, then foreclosures, short sales, and auctions. Other ways to transfer the title of real property include land sale contracts, probate, and adverse possession, all of which will be defined. Finally, like-kind exchanges are examined.
